Simplex Process Solutions wants to catalyse sustainable community development by providing comprehensive enterprise development services, social empowerment initiatives, vocational training programs, and efficient management systems to small businesses. Our Team

Although we have a small team, we have several strategic partners to provide our clients with the best value-for-money systems and professional training.

Our in-house team has more than 56 years of combined management experience and the necessary professional affiliations to ensure that you, our clients, receive high quality, professional service.

The team also has approximately 25 years of enterprise development experience. This means that they know what small and medium businesses need and how to assess them to develop individualised interventions.

On top of this, the team also possess about fifteen years’ experience in training short courses and another nine years of training in a tertiary environment.

In terms of social work and wellness services, we have 26 years’ experience to boast with.

Managing Director

Mrs. J Oelofse

Background

Janine Oelofse, with a distinguished career in social work and a passion for community development, brings a wealth of experience to her role as Managing Director at Simplex Process Solutions. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from NWU and registered with the SA Council for Social Service Professions, Janine's professional journey spans over 27 years. Her expertise lies in child welfare, including abuse cases and school interventions, family reunification, and foster care, supplemented by significant work in employee wellness through networks like Careways and Procare since 2003. As a court intermediary since 1999, Janine has contributed extensively to the legal system in the Northern Free State. Her tenure at Simplex Process Solutions has been marked by her involvement in training, business development, and social development services, showcasing her multifaceted skill set. Janine's commitment to community well-being extends through her participation in various school-based support teams and the founding of the Child Protection Committee in Kroonstad. Her extensive training in a wide array of social work domains underpins her holistic approach to fostering sustainable community development and empowering small businesses.

Background

Annelise Venter, an accomplished academic and professional in Development Administration, significantly contributes to Simplex Process Solutions with her expertise in Public Management, Governance, and Local Economic Development (LED). Annelise holds a Ph.D. in Development Administration from North-West University, where her thesis critically evaluated the process of integrated development planning at the local government level. Her career spans over two decades, starting in 1996, and encompasses roles from Town Secretary and Area Coordinator at Ngwathe Local Municipality to Senior Lecturer in Public Management and Governance at North-West University.

Annelise has also served as a consultant, developing management authorities for heritage sites, and lecturing postgraduate students in Governance and Political Transformation. Her most recent role before joining Simplex was as the Manager of Local Economic Development & Tourism at a District Municipality, where she facilitated economic activities aligned with national and provincial strategies and coordinated LED efforts across the district.

She has published chapters and articles on integrated development planning, economic policy reform, and local government challenges, underscoring her deep understanding of the dynamics and requirements for effective local governance and economic development. Annelise's vast experience and academic achievements make her an invaluable asset to Simplex Process Solutions, where she continues to leverage her skills in fostering sustainable community development and thriving local economies.
